Are you a feminist ?!
Overheard someone saying that " if you fight against men on the subject of pay, opportunities or rights you're a feminist !!" What I understood from this is that the real definition of feminism has gone too wrong. Society has created misconceptions about feminist women and has changed the whole perception towards the feminism. Feminism isn't about male bash, or fighting against men for the resources they get. Feminism is all about equality. It's about asking for equal pay, equal opportunities and ofcourse equal rights. Feminism isn't meant to criticize or belittle men; it's about asking for the equal resources as men because that's only fair!
People need to understand this and change the mindset towards the entire concept of feminism. Feminism is just the other name of Equality. It definitely doesn't mean or show that - We women are a victim or we're weak, incapable and we need empowerment or we hate men. NO!! No, it's definitely not that. Feminism is just about equality of men and women. And if you believe in everything equal and justice for all, then be proud to call yourself a FEMINIST because it is a powerful, positive word. And it's time for us as individuals and as society to bring this to light. We are all equal and meant for better experiences! So, let's not spread hate!
