Break.The.Ice in collaboration with Pee Safe organised a Menstruation Summit to enlighten
our audience and break the ice about periods in society! With over a 100+ participants,
the event had 3 experienced panelists representing different age groups and their various
perspectives. The discussions ranged from taboos around menstruation to the understanding
that stigmas exist in every area of the natural process. In the end, the audience and the
young males left more enlightened about periods and how to break the ice around them. The
panelists for the event included -
1. Ms. Rashmi Putcha- Women’s Health Coach, Menstruation Awareness Activist, Founder and CEO at Inaari.
2. Ms. Sanchi Gajghate- An avid menstrual and life skills educator working towards combating period poverty for the past 10 years, Sanchi is a Biochemist by profession. Currently, working with Pee Safe and Raho Safe as well as leading the HaqSePERIOD campaign, she has worked with worked with UNICEF for spreading awareness on MHM. A Tikshnagat Awardee, she is also the recipient of the National MHM Champion Award 2022.
3. Ms. Palakh Khanna- The Founder of Break.The.Ice, Palakh is a 19-year-old Youth Changemaker, Social Entrepreneur, Mentor, Teacher and Environmentalist. A World Record Holder, she is India’s 20 Under 20.
